The Libertines, one of most popular british indie band. Started their glory days in 1997 until 2004. The line-up are Pete Doherty(vocals/guitar), Carl Barât (vocals/lead guitar), John Hassall (bass) and Gary Powell (drums).
In 2005, they split into 3 new bands, Babyshambles(Pete Doherty), Dirty Pretty Things(Carl Barât and Gary Powell) and Yeti(John Hassall). It is sad to see there is no The Libertines anymore.
But on 29th October 2007, they have released their great compilation
'Time For Heroes – The Best Of The Libertines'

The news just made the fans feel happy even it just the compilation not the new single or albums.
